Young relocated her home to Los Angeles, landing roles in the roles of Cathy Metsker and Rachel in JJ Abrams Mission Impossible: 3 which stars Tom Cruise and Keri Russel. Next, in 2016, she played alongside Jim Rash and David Koechner as a supporting character in the independent film Bernard and Huey. A live action Disney version of A Wrinkle in Time, that starred Oprah Winfrey Reese Witherspoon Mindy Kaing and Reese witherspoon in 2018was her debut big role.
