Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her roles as lead actress in numerous television series and also for her powerful performance in films. Both Canadian as well as American Television are avid fans of Emily Irene vanCamp. At the age of Emily was twelve, she started to get interested in acting after she visited her older sister Katie on the set of one of her film. After realizing her passion for acting, she began to take classes in acting and going to auditions. She started out with a few ads and soon was cast in Are You Are You Afraid of The Dark, a Canadian horror show for kids. She was only seen in one scene, without dialog. The WB program Glory Days, she received her first break in the industry when she was just 15 years old. Emily's performance caught Greg Berlanti's eye, even though the show ended in just nine short episodes. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular character on Everwood. Emily, who is also a ballerina and photographer was praised by Teen magazine as one the most talented actresses under the age of 20. Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 placed Emily at number 51.
